Prof. Seadle bespricht das nestor-Handbuch
In Nr. 2/2010 der bekannten Zeitschrift für Bibliothekswesen und Bibliographie bespricht auf S. 126 f. Prof. Michael Seadle vom Institut für Bibliotheks- und Informationswissenschaft der Humboldt-Universität Berlin ausführlich das nestor-Handbuch. Sein Fazit lautet:
While the „nestor Handbuch“ has some gaps and failings as noted above, it represents an important step toward expanding the discourse on digital long term archiving within Germany. The work will likely be used in German library school courses on digital archiving and will provcide both students and professionals with a sense of the state-of-the-art within Germany at this time.
